How did you start working on this idea?

Joyphene GreenTech Ventures was founded from decades of scientific research and passion for sustainability. The idea began during Dr. Joy V.T.’s tenure as a Professor and Head of the Department of Chemistry, where years of study on graphene and material science revealed immense potential for real-world applications.

Recognizing the urgent global need for cleaner, more efficient technologies, we decided to transform this research into practical, high-performance solutions — from graphene-based lubricants and coatings to safe, powerful zinc-ion batteries.

Our journey began with a vision to bridge the gap between advanced research and everyday sustainability — creating products that not only perform better but also protect our planet.

At Joyphene GreenTech Ventures, we are addressing one of the most critical global challenges — the need for safe, sustainable, and high-performance energy storage. Current lithium-based batteries pose serious issues: safety risks, limited resources, high costs, and environmental harm.
