Originally, I was searching for personal development around parenting as I didn't have the greatest examples modeled for me. With deep study and working with others I have found the science of Interpersonal Neurobiology, the study of how the mind, brain, and relationships interact and influence each other, as an amazing interdisciplinary framework that has powerful implications for mental health, education, and personal development. The role of social relationships in shaping neural structures and psychological functioning to improve emotional regulation and interpersonal communication is emphasized. I want to share how this framework is foundational to my journey of healing from childhood trauma and how it could help anyone no matter their background or experience as it is about the human condition and being together.
Raising children with big, baffling behaviors can be overwhelming.
