What's your tagline / mission?

A customizable delivery service catered to you.

How did you start working on this idea?

As a driver for many platforms I found many limitations in those platforms that kept me from giving the best service I could to the customers I was tending to. I started this to be able to give myself the freedom to do what I can to surpass those limitations and provide something unique.

What problem are you trying to solve and how big is it?

Most delivery services do not want their contractors to take their time providing what they can to make sure the customer gets what they need.

As a shopper or driver we are rushed to get through the list as quickly as possible not taking into mind that people may not be able to reply to that replacement message or that they wanted to add something they hadn't thought of while making their list.

We are only allowed to shop at one location for you on those platforms and if you didn't select "make your best judgement" on that item you needed, most of the time replacements aren't even possible.

You never know who you will get as your shopper or driver. Not all workers will take the time or effort to take care of your order.

What is your solution and how does it work?

I take sole responsibility for managing your requests.
I take the time needed to consider all of your needs.
I communicate with you directly and keep track of everything.

What is your business model / how do you make money?

I charge for the miles from my business to the service location(s) to the delivery location plus a safety buffer to account for anything that might make me have to take a detour or find the location(s). I calculate from my business because every order dictates how my car is set up based on what items are being shopped. This includes coolers to keep items chilled, crates to protect delicate items such as eggs and bread, and making room for larger items. I also take into account any special requests a client may make, I can use their reusable bags or coolers if they provide them for me to avoid bag fees and if they would like their items kept in a cooler at their delivery location. No more melted ice cream at your doorstep.

I charge a minimum of 30 minutes for active time, starting when I arrive at the service location(s) and stopping when the item(s) are collected or paid for. I also add a buffer to account for the number of items and any additional requests that may be made during the time of the service. This could include changing replacements, adding items, or going to another location to find that out of stock item.

All unused buffer miles & time are refunded after the service has been completed.

Some items may require me to charge a fee depending on weight, shape, and size for the extra effort.

Some delivery locations may require me to charge a fee, depending on how many floors I will have to climb to get everything delivered.
If there is a usable elevator at the location, this does not apply.

How did you go to market and start acquiring customers?

I would like to find customers that are looking for that extra effort that I provide, that are eager to work with me in getting what they want and need.
I love the idea of helping those that are unable to shop for themselves due to whatever reason, health, busy lifestyle, or just because they would like to have someone take care of their request with the utmost priority.

How many customers and paid users do you have?

As of right now, I do not have any customers.
This system is still in the works and needs to be ironed out as far as logistics in order to provide the easiest, smoothest, and most accommodating service I can offer.

I also need to make sure I create an ironclad, easy to follow and understand contract foundation form that protects both my clients, myself, and my business.

What's your vision and strategic roadmap for product & marketing?

I would like to go to locations where I know individuals who struggle to shop for themselves or are unable to leave their homes. I want to be able to help them. I want to create flyers and pamphlets for communities with busy moms or entrepreneurs. The possibilities are endless as far as who can use this service.

Who is in your team?

As of right now, this is a solo venture, but I would like to offer positions for other providers once I have everything ready and to have tested the waters thoroughly.

I would also like to create a system that others can duplicate to provide a similar service, regardless of location. Customizing it to fit both their needs and the needs of their clients.

Are you looking to raise funds at the moment?

I am not looking to raise funds at the moment, but I may if I choose to expand or need a business location that is not my place of residence.

What would you advise to someone who is starting up?

As this is my first time trying to create something that provides a service to clients individually, I cannot say that I am in any position to advise anything. I'm still learning the basics myself. I would gladly take any advice that would be helpful though!

Your idea can change the world, let's make it a reality!
