How did you start working on this idea?

The idea was born from seeing visitors struggle with unreliable, unlicensed taxis and pushy airport operators. As a licensed operator with tourism certifications, I wanted to provide a safe, transparent, and stress-free way for travelers to book their transfers in advance with confidence.

What problem are you trying to solve and how big is it?

Visitors to Jamaica often face unsafe, overpriced, or confusing transport options upon arrival. This creates stress at the start of their trip. With over 4 million annual arrivals into MBJ and KIN airports, the market is huge. Aurum Transfers solves this with a trusted, pre-booked service that ensures safety, transparency, and convenience.

What is your solution and how does it work?

We provide licensed, private airport transfers with professional drivers. Travelers can book online in under 60 seconds, pay securely, and get instant confirmation. Our system tracks flights, adjusts for delays, and ensures drivers greet guests on time. Services include standard cars, premium SUVs, VIP transfers, and group coaches.

What is your business model / how do you make money?

Direct revenue from transfer bookings via our website. Upsell opportunities with round-trip discounts, premium/VIP options, and partnerships with hotels, villas, and concierges (commission-based).

How did you go to market and start acquiring customers?

We launched with a strong digital-first approach:
