How to Use the Database Feature in Venturz

The Database feature in Venturz lets you create, manage, and use custom databases to support different parts of your business. Whether you're collecting leads, storing product data, running campaigns, or building dynamic web pages, Venturz helps you do it all.

1. How to Import and Export Data

To get started, go to the Databases section from your dashboard and click on Create Database.
Once you create a new database, you'll see the option to
upload a CSV file. This allows you to import existing data quickly and organize it in one place.

After the data is uploaded, you can edit, update, or delete any row directly inside the dashboard. You can also import data in both CSV and XLSX formats, depending on what you have available.

When needed, you can export your data to a CSV or XLSX file—making it easy to share, back up, or use in other tools.

2. How to Collect and Store Data with Forms

With Venturz, you can easily create forms on your website to collect data—like emails, feedback, registrations, or survey responses. Every time someone fills out a form, their data is automatically saved to your database.

How It Works:

When you add a form to your website, Venturz creates a separate database for each form. This means every form you build has its own dedicated place to store data.

For example, if you create a newsletter signup form on your homepage, all email entries will go into one database. If you add a contact form on another page, that form will store its submissions in a different database. This keeps everything organized and easy to manage.

You can view the submitted data by going to the Databases section in your dashboard. Each form will have its own entry, where you can see and manage the responses.

Using Forms on Your Website

To add a form:

  1. Open any page in the website builder.

  2. Type "/" and select the Form block.

  3. Add the fields you need—like name, email, message, or dropdowns.

  4. Publish the page.

Every submission from that form will be saved in real-time to its linked database.

4. How to Generate Dynamic Pages from Database

If you need to create lots of pages—like for products, team members, blog posts, or services—Venturz makes it easy. You can use a database to automatically generate pages without doing everything by hand. Here's how:

Step 1: Create a Database

First, you need to set up a database with the content for your pages. You can do this in two ways:

Option 1: Create it manually

Go to your Dashboard → Databases and click Create Database.
Add columns like
title, description, H1, meta description, or anything else you want to include on the pages.
Then, add your content row by row. Each row will become one page.

Option 2: Upload a CSV file

If you already have your content in Excel or Google Sheets, export it as a CSV file. Go to the Databases section and upload the file. Venturz will turn your spreadsheet into a database automatically.

Step 2: Generate Pages from Your Database

After your database is ready, go to the Pages section.

Click the dropdown next to the Create Page button and choose "From Database."

Select the database you just created or uploaded.

Venturz will read the rows in your database and create one page for each row—fully automatically.
