We've discovered an inspiring startup that's all about deep self-exploration and social change. They call it "Souling," and it's not just a book—it's a movement set to launch on March 26th. Created by Natasha Ritz, Souling acts as a verb, inviting everyone to actively engage with their soul. This book is the springboard for a social enterprise aimed at bringing people together to enhance their awareness, heal, and actively participate in life’s rich tapestry.
Through Souling, Natasha integrates her profound insights from behavioral sciences with eclectic elements from spirituality, relationships, and personal well-being, making it a unique guide for those seeking to delve into their innermost selves and contribute to a larger community focused on progressive social action.

Personal growth and self-healing... the ability to start taking radical accountability for yourself, your behaviour and the outcomes you see around you. We can only heal the planet if we heal ourselves first. When we are in the process of healing, so too is nature, as we are nature itself. l.
My book will be launching on March 26th but as a marketer I have a strong plan ahead and I can share with just 1 week to go where things are at currently... - Hundreds of people signed up to pre-order the paperback and eBook (which will be privately released to that group on March 22nd) - 100 people and media invited to the launch event on March 22nd. - Already over 350 followers across social channels in mere weeks of pre-launch- Famous authors Glennon Doyle, David Kessl,er and Dr Carloyn Elliott have all engaged with the content I've created My breakeven for this venture is small, it's 350 paperbacks or 1000 eBooks.
I will be launching an audiobook later in the year and potentially an album for it as well (I'm a singer). The idea here is to integrate many creative endeendeavors outlets to help people explore themselves in varied ways too.
As always there are millions of pieces of content going out everyday across varied channels, the idea is to hone in on your niche, be really specific and create content that resonates with those people, where they are.
Don't be on absolutely every channel be where your community potentially are. Hurdles will be cutting through in a world absolutely plastered with content and books. The idea is to plant hundreds of seeds, collaborate with amazing people, connect with the media, book clubs, businesses, and beyond.
Turn every single card over and connect with people where it feels aligned. I know that if something feels hard then I need to shift to something else, or if a person says no then I can quickly move onto a person that will say yes, I see rejection as an opportunity.
I have raised just under $2 million AUD over 2 equity crowdfund raises. I have also been in partnerships/sales for sponsorship of businesses and brought in about $600k over 2 years. My approach is always finding the people who believe what you believe, connect with them - people either get it or they don't.
Don't try to convince people that don't care or aren't aligned just keep moving forward and you'll always build a group of passionate people who are aligned with the mission, vision and cause.
One raise I worked on we didn't end up get funding at all which was really sad and hard to face but that's also the nature of the beast. We can't always have success stories only. In the end, I had to leave that business (I was employed), and moved onto other things.
The founder is still going though plugging away and looking to build many more revenue streams which is really positive to see. You have to persevere it's the only way to make things happen. Often those overnight successes have been 10 years in the making.
By the end of this year, I'd like to have sold a few thousand copies of the book, I'd like to have run some workshops, done a keynote and really got the ball rolling. I'm working on building a consistent stream of income and revenue from multiple angles.
I'm super excited to see how many purpose-led organisations are popping up in Australia and the opportunity for retailer investors to use tools like Birchal equity crowdfunding to back the ventures they care most about.
Go with your gut. Your instinct often knows more than the data. People talk about data endlessly but so often, your gut is right. We've been taught for years to ignore our gut and outsource our decision making to data only but I think that's wrong! Lean into your intuition, it will absolutely help you on your startup journey.
